We are looking for a Supply Base Management/Buyer.Description:Supplier Management and Procurement consists of jobs associated with both the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations and with the management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.Position Requirements: Knowledge of supplier management and procurement systems, processes, and supply chain management. Ability to apply analytical skills to facilitate improvements in processes/performance of internal organizations and external suppliers. Ability to develop, maintain, and enhance process improvement on supplier base activities for supplier management and procurement.Performs various duties to support supply chain management (SCM) and procurement processes. Assignments & tasks include database support, data analysis, updating existing visibility tools & creation of new exhibits, presentation support, management reviews, etc. Identifies and implements improvements to processes. Seeks performance measurement opportunities. Compliance to procurement policies and procedures. Strong oral and written communication skills required to communicate thoroughly with Supply Chain Management and Business Unit personnel. Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to manage projects and attention to detail are required in this assignment. Proficiency in computing skills (especially database) required.Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US. Education Requirements: High School Graduate with 2-4 years related experience.
