We are a small but growing company looking for project managers with 7+ years of consulting experience.  Having experience in the Energy industry, upstream oil & gas accounting, land management, field data capture, production administration or oil/gas marketing is desirable but not required. EAG Services offers competitive salaries that are based on both experience and industry acumen. We also provide both industry and methodology training to new employees.

 

The Opportunity

EAG offers a variety of services, many of which support the assessment and implementation of software applications.  We seek project managers with 7+ years of experience in Big 5 consultancies or comparable companies who have successfully managed all phases of complex software application implementations.  Our project managers are well versed in implementation methodologies and understand the tools traditionally used by Big 5 consulting organizations to effectively manage complex projects.

Qualifications

· Experience creating and executing project plans, resource plans and communication plans

· Ability to oversee the timely execution of all project tasks with exceptional quality

· Ability to align project tasks and deliverables against our client’s strategic imperatives and tactical plans

· Ability to set and manage client expectations

· Ability to manage project budgets and support EAG Services’ project financial objectives

· Ability to lead EAG Services consultants, contractors and client project participants

· Experience building C-Level relationships to ensure alignment between project and strategy

· Experience identifying additional client opportunities and supporting the sales process

· Ability to communicate and manage all stages of software implementation: Business Process Analysis, Data Cleansing, Data Conversion, Software Configuration, Testing, User Training, Business Simulation, Cutover, Production Support Handover

· Ability to proactively manage project risk

· Experience developing practical, cost effective recommendations for project issues

· Experience meeting Sarbanes-Oxley implementation control requirements

· Ability to manage at least one functional area at detailed level

 

In addition, the Project Manager is required to participate and support internal EAGS initiatives such as recruiting, developing offerings, sales, mentoring and personal skill development.

 

Job experience includes:10+ years of experience in Big 5 consultancies or comparable companies who have successfully managed all phases of complex software application implementations.Having experience in the Energy industry, upstream oil & gas accounting, land management, field data capture, production administration or oil/gas marketing is desirable but not required. Minimum Bachelors degree required

 

 

Software Application Experience

Having performed an implementation or experience working with any of the following software packages is desired:

OGSYS, Avatar, Questa, Wolfepak, Enertia, Excalibur, QByte, JDEdwards, Bolo Systems, Gwiz, SAP, Artesia, Horizon, Oracle, Great Plains, Axapta, Solomon Financials, Quorum, Tobin, LandPro, TOW (the Oilfield Workstation), Wellpoint, Enterprise Upstream (EU), Petrocomp, P2ES (Production Module), Merrick (ProCount and eVin), EGS, Merak, Field View, Field Direct, FlowCal 

 

Travel

All applicants must be willing to travel 80% of each week.
