DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: - Audits and analyzes objectives and goals to meet project schedule and quality standards and provides reports and improvement solutions, as required. - Reviews overall engineering concepts and recommends adjustments to reflect on site conditions. - Interfaces with Subcontractors construction, engineering, operating and Subcontractor management in planning and coordinating total project. - Participates with Subcontractors construction management and those in related areas in reviewing proposals, man hours and costs. - Maintains liaison with Client, Labor and Subcontractor representatives, attends conferences, meetings and local associations. (Note: Required only for the Top Level Position.) - Reviews and audits safety programs to insure Subcontractors are promoting safe working. - Reports to the Clients Project Manager and keeps the Clients Project Manager -closely informed on all project matters. - Inspects assembled and erected components to insure quality of Subcontractors work. - Reviews measurement reports and checks tolerances. - Performs other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent. Skills:- Leadership, team oriented, good communication skills; special attention to detail and accuracy; ability to lead a construction team, highly motivated and assertiveness. - Extensive knowledge of construction-related processes, claim management, contract administration, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices. - Minimum of three years of prior experience in craft positions in the fields of mechanic or hydraulic; electric or automation. - Experience in the erection of heavy duty machinery. Experience: Successful construction management experience.
