Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.57580 WHY WAIT?Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity?This may be your lucky day!It is time for a change, and CDI can help!We have an immediate need for a Sr. Software EngineerJOB DESCRIPTIONSenior Software Engineer: 9 monthsKey Result Areas:- Work from detailed specifications to design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality technical solutions. - Provide and meet time estimates for assigned deliverables. - Work with Test Engineering to provide feedback on test plans and strategies to produce high-quality products. - Work with documentation team to ensure software features and technologies are properly documented. - Work with product management team concerning project requirements (technical and user), designs, delivery schedules - Participate in requirement reviews and design reviews to gain a better understanding of the development process. - Other responsibilities and key result areas as required or assigned. - Run periodic vulnerability assessments on PRPC - Maintain current working knowledge of web application security issues - Provide guidance to all engineering regarding secure web application development best practices Job Knowledge and Application:- Solid understanding of web application security issues, e.g. OWASP Top Ten - Experience with web application vulnerability testing - Solid understanding and practical experience with the software development life cycle - Advanced Java Programming, server side programming in particular - Familiarity with java security, J2SE, JAAS - Familiarity with web application security issues, e.g. cross site scripting, SQL injection, cookies, etc. - Knowledge of authentication schemes, e.g. SSO, SPNEGO - HTTP protocol and client side programming knowledge including HTML, JSP, javascript, web 2.0, etc. - Facile with operating systems and development tools such as eclipse, ant, etc. - Experience with web application servers, e.g. Websphere, Weblogic, Oracle, Tomcat, etc. - Experience with security products, e.g. SiteMinder, WebSEAL, etc. Behavioral and Interpersonal:- Analytical - Detail oriented - Results oriented - Creative thinker - Quick learner - Positive attitude, determined and resilient - Dedicated to building a superior product - Team work and willingness to listen to others - Excellent communication skills Education and Experience Requirements:- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. - Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of experience in a technical role. - Demonstrated ability to successfully interact in technical discussions. - Academic success in a technical field.
