Senior Project Manager - Environmental
ENERCON’s Oklahoma City, OK office has an opening for a Senior Project Manager - Environmental to serve client environmental needs by evaluating, planning, organizing, and performing consulting services.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform & oversee wetland reviews, archeological reviews, and threatened & endangered species reviews. Perform field work and sampling. Approximately 25% field work and 75% office work is typical for the position. Achieve client objectives by obtaining information, evaluating concerns and needs, and presenting recommendations both verbally and in written reports. Review data reports and write all or portions of project technical and summary reports. Assist with the development of existing and new clients including identifying and responding to RFPs and RFQs. Assist with hiring biological staff. Mentor and possibly manage junior and mid-level scientists.
Job Requirements:Bachelors' degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum 6 years of experience which must include experience preparing environmental studies under NEPA. Experience with Oil and Gas operations a plus. Working relationship with State agencies, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department. Must have experience working with state, local, and federal agencies to obtain permits, including familiarity with permitting requirements under the CWA, ESA, and NHPA. Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail. Good verbal communication skills with ability to maintain & develop client relationships. Problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills. Project management, business development, & proposal development experience. Computer skills including experience with MS Office Word/Excel. 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training preferred. Safe Driving Record.
