This position requires the ability design, review and release PCB as part of our hardware development process.The successful candidate will also help to support our PCB and schematic library and our schematic capture and PCB layout tools, and the CIS database. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Candidate primary responsibility will be to perform PCB layout design and development work to support project and department goals.Follow and improve the PCB design and release processes.Maintain and improve the schematic capture/PCB design process flow.Support the schematic symbol/PCB footprint library.Assist with the Integration of our tools with our configuration management system. (Agile)Help select and specify state of the art tools for the development process.Specific skills being sought are:Extensive experience in PCB layout using Cadence Allegro. Experience using OrCAD schematic capture.Strong background in PCB design tools implementation and maintenance.Experience deploying best practices and procedures in high speed digital, RF and mixed signal PCB design.Background in high speed digital, mixed signal circuit design. QUALIFICATIONS:Five or more years of direct experience in PCB layout and design using Cadence Allegro.Experience with OrCAD schematic capture.Experience with Cadence CIS.Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
