Senior Environmental Specialist

Innovar Environmental is hiring three (3) full-time senior-level contract environmental positions that will be located at the 99th Regional Support Command (RSC) headquarters at Fort Dix, New Jersey.  These contract positions will be Senior Environmental Specialists required to develop and execute the 99th RSC Environmental Branch support mission.   

Environmental Specialists will have the following capabilities and/or responsibilities: Experience to provide technical oversight to all environmental programs, including research, analysis, development, coordination, training, compliance inspections, assessments, and plan/program development. Have a working knowledge of building maintenance and systems and vehicle maintenance practices, as related to environmental compliance. Annotate environmental conductions using the Environmental Performance Assessment System (EPAS). Assist facility personnel in maintaining environmental compliance, monitor and report conditions at facilities, Willing to travel approximately 75% of time.  Each position will be responsible for traveling to facilities in their assigned area of responsibility a minimum of twice per year to provide assistance and oversight. Will have experience in the following areas:

·          Hazardous materials and waste

·          EPAS

·          Air quality

·          Water quality and spill prevention and response

·          Asbestos, lead, radon, PCBs

·          Noise pollution

·          Pollution prevention/sustainability/EMS

·          NEPA

·          Installation Restoration Program (IRP)

 

Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science or equivalent; MS preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
