SENIOR BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST

The successful candidate will support, lead and facilitate business process improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies as a member of a consulting team assisting the Navy in reorganization of its business processes.  The candidate will facilitate process design sessions, integrating client-provided subject-matter expertise with process design and functional requirements expertise.  Will produce detailed process flows and other documentation associated with new processes.  The qualified applicant will plan for implementation of processes, including employee training, communication, and deployment scheduling.  He/She will communicate with all team members, client and senior management regarding project requirements and alternative methodologies.  Will collaborate with members of related teams to coordinate deliverables and support the objectives and strategic initiatives of the client. The candidate will work in an office environment with some U.S. travel.  Telecommuting options may be available.



Qualified candidates must possess a Master Degree with 2 yrs experience or a Bachelor Degree with 6 years experience in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.  Must have experience in conducting process flow studies, analyzing requirements, supervising personnel in collecting and analyzing source data, analyzing metrics data, identifying trends, and advising stakeholders on problem areas.  The selected applicant must have experience using TQM, Six Sigma and/or Lean (DMAIC) principals and tools.  Must be able to identify critical path, prepare reports, and inform stakeholders on impact, recommending methods for improving processes.  He/She must have excellent facilitation, problem resolution, cross group collaboration and organizational skills.  Must be able to quickly grasp complex concepts, analyses, and ideas and form logical strategies.  Experience in implementing major change initiatives, including managing/influencing stakeholders at various levels of organizations and working with cross-functional initiatives required.  Demonstrated ability to use advanced statistical tools and employ metrics in process improvement initiatives.  Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills required.  Must have excellent prioritization skills and experience leading a team.  Must be proficient in MS Office Products such as MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.  Visio, preferred.
