Sales Representative - Consulting Services

Ataway, a midsize consulting firm focused on assisting customers with the global deployment of PeopleSoft applications, is looking for a dynamic Salesperson to support the continued rapid growth the company has enjoyed worldwide for the last few years. Successful candidates will have: 3 - 5 years of sales experience in the consulting fieldExperience selling consulting services (managed solution services; staff augmentation), or outsourcing solutions Experience selling PeopleSoft solutions is an advantage (preferably experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain, and EPM) Experience selling and closing large dollar engagements Experience selling project-based servicesA strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and the ERP implementation life cycle “Câ€�-level, VP & D-level established relationships within the IT community, and within the PeopleSoft arenaExcellent writing and presentation skills Excellent time management skills Experience working in international environments Job responsibilities: Identify potential customers based on supplied criteria and sources (prospecting) Initiate contact with potential customers (cold calling) Work closely with the Director of Business Development to provide customers with Ataway’s solutions for global implementations and deployments, and for Ataway’s outsourcing services Attend trade shows primary revenue producer for Ataway by developing a robust sales pipeline and referenceable, flagship customers Interact with customers and present proposalsStart date: ASAP Location: This position is based either in our New York or Chicago office.
