For more information, visit www.forrester.com Job Title: Senior Corporate Communications SpecialistFLSA Status: ExemptLocation: Cambridge, MADescription:Reporting to the vice president of corporate communications, the Senior Corporate Communications Specialist assists in the development, management, and execution of internal and external corporate communications programs. As a steward of the Forrester brand, the Senior Corporate Communications Specialist works with others in corporate,marketing, client group marketing, sales, research, vendor relations, and the executive team to maintain and enhance Forrester's reputation, transparency, independence/objectivity, and integrity. Corporate communications activities support Forrester's role-based strategy and focus on the company's targeted 19 professional roles in $1 billion-plus organizations.Responsibilities: * Coordinate proactive and reactive corporate public relations, including executive media relations and corporate announcements.* Collaborate with VP, corporate communications and others as needed to develop executive communications.* Partner with other members of the corporate communications team to measure and report internally the team's output and contributions to Forrester's role-based strategy and business goals.* Manage Forrester's executive visibility program, and coordinate as appropriate with the Forrester's Speakers Bureau.* Work with the VP, corporate communications to manage the development of and outreach to key influencers.* Provide CEO support to internal and external stakeholders as needed.* Assist VP, corporate communications with crisis and issues management.* Coordinate, update, and disseminate corporate messaging and communications as needed.* Partner with appropriate internal colleagues (e.g., corporate marketing, client group marketing, vendor relations) to ensure currency and implementation of corporate communications guidelines/standards and related policies.* Assist the vice president, corporate communications with the company's long-term communications planning.Requirements:* Seven to ten years of communications experience, including corporate public relations experience* B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent in communications, PR, or related field* Demonstrates initiative and proactive thinking, planning, and execution* Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills* Acts as a strong individual contributor and collaborative team member* Displays proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel* Demonstrates proven project management experience* Experienced strategic thinker* Ability to work smart in a fast-paced, high-growth environment* Ability to think, plan, innovate, and execute resourcefully* Experience in crisis communications, issues management, special events, online communication including social media required* Must be able to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize, be detail-oriented, and meet deadlinesForrester Research is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer; M/F/D/V are especially encouraged to apply.
