Project Manager - Identity Management Program
CGI’s Telecommunication Business Unit is expanding and growing. We are looking for top project managers who have previously worked on programs of 6-12 months length with budgets of $250k to$3 Million. The candidate will be located in Montreal at CGI site and will be leading a team composed of onshore and offshore members. Experience in global delivery models is a strong asset due to the nature of project.
The future candidate will need to perform the following detailed;
-The candidate will be leading a program called Identity Management.
-Multiple projects are being delivered within this program, varying from 60K$ TO 250K$ each.
-Project Management, resource planning for the overall Program and Client Communication are the main 3 accountibilities required.
- Maintains ongoing contact with client and collaborates with client on the resolution of any disputes or issues that arise during the project
- Act as the SPOC for all CGI teams - solicits the involvement of coordinates the activities of the any CGI Groups involved in the projects
- Prime for coordinating the issuance of the Project Mandates and to closely monitor the activities throughout the project.
- Prime for coordinating overall sizing within CGI as well as obtaining external vendor estimates if required. Work with delivery teams to identify resources, funding requirements, capital and expense.
- Managing the financials and budget to ensure project margins are met.
- Responsible for communicating and negotiating project dependencies
- Plan, organize, lead, and monitor the activities of the development team
- Maintain control of the schedule and deliverables within his team

The candidate must possess excellent communication skills both oral and in writing because the candidate will be Customer facing. He must have a good technical base and analytical skills to understand IT solutions and the activities required to deliver these solutions.
