Project Manager - IT Asset Management/Configuration Management

Savvee Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a IT Asset Management/Configuration Management Project Manager to assist and support our DoD client in orchestrating, improving and maturing its IT investment management process. As the successful candidate, you will apply your project management, IT consulting, IT asset management, and configuration management expertise as required to develop and manage the client’s IT asset management program. Some of the objectives of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

·         Develop an ITAM/CM workflow using best practices, ITIL guidelines, and stakeholder feedback.

·         Develop policies, procedures,

·         Maturing the structure and reporting capabilities of the Savvee Team to include creating and maintaining Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms); facilitation of team meetings; and conducting regular status meetings with Savvee Management.

 

A viable candidate should posses these qualifications:

·         Able to obtain or currently hold a Secret-level security clearance.

·         3+ years of project management experience.

·         3+ experience coordinating and/or supporting IT capital planning processes.

·         In-depth knowledge of IT capital planning processes such as Operational Analysis, SDLC, EVM, EA, cost benefit analyses, risk management, or investment performance management.

·         In-depth knowledge of the Pre-Select, Select, Control, and Evaluate phases of the CPIC process.

·         In-depth knowledge of federal government requirements for business cases and IT portfolios.

·         Knowledge of federal government IT security standards and requirements.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team skills.

·         IT Project Management or EVM Certification.
