About The Position

The Product Manager participates in and leads the collection and understanding of business requirements with clients and Reval internal teams.  The Product Manager translates those requirements into specific Vision Documents, proposals, estimates and requirements documents  for the proposed product changes and works with the Product Delivery Manager to package Product Release plans. The Product Manager identifies and proposes solutions for product issues and leads Product Planning meetings and reviews.  The Product Manager provides expertise during design and development phases of product delivery, reviews development at various stages to ensure that the deliverables performs as expected.  This position is based in New York and requires 10-20% travel.

 

Required Experience

A good candidate would possess the following:8+ yrs of relevant experience 2+ yrs product management experienceBA/BS, MBA preferredExcellent product knowledge; preferably derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, and/or commoditiesStrong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalStrong client management skillsStrong team management skills (staffing, mentoring, reviewing)Experience managing cross-functional teamsGood functional understanding of technology Good understanding of structured developmental methodologyUnderstanding the impact of issues on project schedules and scopeAbility to prepared necessary documentation Ability to communicate issues clearly to both business and technology professionals Ability to juggle multiple tasks Self motivated and driven to succeed; tenacious in obtaining results
