About the Position:
We are seeking a Product Analyst to join our team of professionals. The Product Analyst is focused on capturing the business, functional, and technical requirements necessary to implement new products or features within the Silverpop product suite. This is done by eliciting, analyzing, validating, documenting, verifying, and managing the requirements through the development life cycle. The Product Analyst serves as a Product Management liaison to Engineering and QA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with the Product Manager and other project stakeholders to understand and document the feature or product’s vision and scope.
· Elicit requirements using interviews, brainstorming sessions, graphical modeling, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, competitive product analysis, and other methods.
· Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.
· Coordinate with UI Design and Information Architects to ensure that all requirements artifacts are complete and consistent.
· Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents and work products derived from requirements specifications (i.e. technical designs and test cases) to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
· Facilitate the review and approval process for requirements.
· Manage and communicate changes to approved requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
· Assist in the continuous improvement of requirements gathering and prioritization processes and tools.
· Ensure that the business is prepared to support the launch of new features and products.

REQUIREMENTS:
· 4-year degree in business, computer science, IT, or marketing.
· A minimum of 4 years experience writing requirements in the software industry.
· An understanding of traditional and new requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice.
· Experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum methodology is ideal.
· Experience with Web Applications or Software as a Service (SaaS) preferred
