Procurement Operations Manager

A management consulting firm has a potential client who is a global leader in prescription pharmaceuticals, non-prescription consumer health care products, and pharmaceuticals for animal health seeking a seasoned sourcing and procurement professional to fill a procurement manager position, which will serve a vital role in helping the company’s Global Procurement Group achieve its procurement compliance support and cost savings goals.

 

Key responsibilities for this position include: Oversee design and delivery of SRM-related training, documentation, and communications; serve as lead subject matter expert where necessary in design of new or updated materials and ensure communications are clear, effective, and consistent with SRM and the company’s procurement processesManage the collection, prioritization, design, and scheduling of SRM enhancement requests based on stakeholder requirements, enterprise mandates, business benefits, costs, and resources

 

Requirements for this position include:

· MS or higher with 5-10 years in information management in distributed enterprise environmentsFortune 500 and/or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus Experience with SAP SRM application required; experience with the company’s other SAP supply chain applications (e.g. R/3, FI, Business Intelligence) a plus; prior successes in integrating enterprise-level and/or supply chain applications a definite plus
