General/Other: IT/Software Development Industry Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.55415 CDI is currently seeking a Mechanical Technology Coordinator to work for an aerospace company that provides technologically advanced systems, components and services for commercial and military aircraft and vehicles. Some examples of their aerospace products include: electric power generating, distribution, management; and control systems; fuel and special fluid pumps; engine control systems; gearboxes; primary and secondary flight controls and actuation systems; ram air turbine emergency systems; auxiliary power units; environmental control systems and propeller systems.SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: The responsibilities of this position include supporting the mechanical technologies group. You will run required eAR (turnbacks and escapes actions management) reports, ad assisting Process Certification activities (Key Product Characteristics database queries and metrics tracking and reporting). This individual needs to work well within a team to establish a cooperative work environment. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with other functional areas, development teams, and program management. The individual must possess the ability to analyze data, set priorities, accept responsibility, and perform varied and complex tasks with minimal supervision. This is a technical support related administrative coordinator role that requires a commitment to meeting engineering team and customer deadlines.EDUCATION:AA/AS degree. Technical Business School Certificate or Diploma2-5 years of experience preferred.
