Must be bi-lingual and able to speak and write in English and Spanish with equal fluency. A self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic person who is comfortable and productive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment will do well in this role. Critical attributes include exceptional teamwork, flexibility, organization, and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude. Some travel may be required. Responsibilities: * Organize, coordinate, and control activities involved in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other submittals - from concept to production. * Help develop the strategy, outline proposal requirements, work with technical and management staff, write and edit content, ensure RFP/RFQ compliance, and produce a quality document. * Develop and implement win strategies for project pursuits, brochures, and other marketing materials. * Write proposal sections, project descriptions and resumes - focusing on marketing themes and win strategies. Leverage and re-use existing boiler plate. * Translate documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English. * Provide layout, formatting and final content for proposals and other print media. * Ensure that corporate brand messages and strategies are conveyed in print documents and presentations. * Develop targeted questions and interview technical and project staff to extract from them the critical information necessary to include in a proposal. * Lead storyboarding, kickoff and review meetings. Be proactive in the development of strategic win themes and discriminators. * Provide support to a broad range of marketing activities. Improve proposal productivity and quality, including content and use of standardized tools and processes. * Maintain marketing database records and files, including resumes, proposals, industry and company experience, etc. Requirements: * Degree in marketing, communications, public relations or business administration. * Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in a marketing/proposal role for an A/E/C consulting company. * Bachelors degree in journalism, marketing or communications from accredited college or university. * Must be bi-lingual and able to speak and write in English and Spanish with equal fluency. * Strong team leadership, flexible, organized, able to prioritize and work on many projects simultaneously. * Ability to generate ideas, develop a plan and execute it to reach a target. * Customer service focus and ability to work with staff at all levels. * Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture. * Strong appreciation and understanding of current and emerging marketing technologies, third party solutions and packaged software applications. * Expertise in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Working knowledge of desktop publishing/graphics software, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Deltek Vision or similar database applications.
