Market Research Analyst - Consumer Products
In this role, you are the market research analyst; You are monitoring the consumer products manufactured by this organization and providing primary market research to gain insight on key strategic areas such as Segmentation, Product and Brand Positioning and Pricing and identifying sources of secondary research to help drive the commercial success for our product portfolio.
You are a resource to the Marketing and Innovation team to help drive the commercial success for the product portfolio by using your analytical skills. This position assists in the assessment of market potential within each division to assist in maximizing the product portfolio.
This position requires proficiency in market research, product forecasting, competitive intelligence gathering techniques, and data mining skills. Your experience in descriptive, inferential and psychometric statistics, along with your knowledge of research design, research methodology, SPSS and a competency in other software, such as Word and Excel is desired.
Working knowledge of graphing software is desirable. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to communicate and effectively work across departmental lines and understand the needs of both internal and external customers.
The successful candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Math, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering with experience in the market research of products, services, etc. Experience with design of online interface for analysis and reporting of data is desirable.
Your experience in RFM modeling, predictive analysis, campaign modeling and consumer/purchase analysis is key for this role.
