Managing Director

 

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Do you have expertise in developing and building a consulting practice and looking for a firm where your hard work is recognized and rewarded? We are looking for an office Managing Director, with partnership potential, to grow our rapidly expanding consulting organization. Sunera provides Internal Audit, IT Consulting, Information Security and Risk Management services to Fortune 1000 companies, through its offices in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate should have experience dealing with senior decision-makers, while effectively managing multiple priorities to reach a deadline.   You will be challenged to continue to develop professionally in a supportive, entrepreneurial, people-first atmosphere, where you will interact with co-workers and clients at all levels.

 
As a senior executive your duties may include:

· Building a qualified team of employees to service the local marketplace;

· Participating in business development for various consulting engagements, including the preparation and delivery of engagement proposals;

·   Leading Risk Assessments, Advisory Services and Internal and/or IT Audit Co-sourcing engagements; and

·  Project management, including leading, training and mentoring staff and reviewing consulting reports and deliverables.

 

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

 The ideal candidates should have:

· A bachelor or masters degree;

· Ten or more years of consulting/public accounting experience (“Big 4� preferred);

· At least one of the following certifications (CPA,  CISA, CFA, CISSP or equivalent);

· Experience working with an advisory or equivalent firm

· Strong decision-making skills and business acumen;

· Entrepreneurial – ability to find leads and close projects;

· Team-oriented, dedicated, and resourceful, with an eagerness to learn;

· Superior written and verbal communication skills; and

· Strong project management skills and experience.
