The primary business activities of these clients include underwriting new stock and bond issues to the primarymarket, broker/dealer services exchanging securities in the secondary market, and settling securities trades, asset management and wealth management.  A Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP will manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and growing senior client relationships and leading consultant and client project teams from project planning through execution. . Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including: - Engagement Management: Manage engagement risk, manage project economics including planning and budgeting, manage accounts receivable, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client. - Client Management: Manage the day to day interactions with client management and sponsorship - Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, participate and may lead aspects of the proposal development process. - People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, and may participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.  Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. - Ability to accommodate client travel up to 100%. Bachelor's degree, MBA strongly preferred. 5-8 years professional experience in consulting services with a focus on delivery of strategy and/or operations projects. At least 2 years of project management experience. Majority of engagement experience focused on the Securities market segment. Experience managing / leading complex programs, operations and product launches. Experience managing mixed teams, including clients and contractors with both business and technical backgrounds (include offshore teams). Experienceanalyzing, designing and implementing large scale business/technology solutions. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). Experience should include presentation / proposal generation, as well as an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within a team or client organization. Willingness to work on a broad variety of projects in the Strategy & Operations practice. Very detail-oriented. Stellar work ethic.
