What will your responsibilities be at ZS?
The person in this role will be a senior data architect with extensive data modeling experience who will lead the designing, implementing, testing, and deploying of datawarehouses to meet business process requirements using Business Objects and/or Cognos, and the following:

· Manage the customizing of BI tools to meet user needsDesign the performance management or reporting solution as per business requirementsDesign sales and marketing data warehouses for performance management or reporting Lead project teams in gathering, structuring, and prioritizing client business requirementsTranslate client user requirements into data flows, data maps, reports, model subject areas etcConduct architectural review of the technical design to ensure alignment with the enterprise data architectureAnalyze and assess the impact of production system changes to existing analytics and implement changes to the warehouse components to ensure consistent and accurate reportingSet standards for operations, programming and securityTroubleshoot BI tools related operational issuesDevelop standards and guidelines for the design of BI reporting tools

 

In addition, this person will help lead a firm-wide initiative in improving ZS’ IT capability for clientsContribute to ZS IT capability building knowledge creationCoach, mentor, and conduct training programs in business intelligence and other IT topicsPlay active role in developing and growing the practice

 

What are we looking for?
IT Managers have 6-8 years IT consulting work experience primarily focused on business intelligence and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university.

 

Required Skills:Significant design and implementation experience in Business Objects and/or Cognos Experience with the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processExtensive experience developing reports using Business Objects or Cognos in different operating environmentsExtensive experience with data cleansing and data confirming per ETL specifications, developing dimensional models, conducting data analysis Hands on experience in the design, deployment and support of large and complex data warehouses/martsExperience with and knowledge of business intelligence modeling and report designKnowledge of ergonomics best practices and principles for dashboard and report designKnowledge of BI tool architectures, functions and featuresKnowledge of current BI concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trendsSignificant experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases, operating systems, and applicationsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form

 

Preferred Skills:Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projectsBusiness objects and/or Cognos certificationExperience in sales and marketingWorking knowledge of SAS is a plus
