Ideal candidates will posses expert practical knowledge in one of the following: - Windows - Solaris - AIX - Linux - ESXAnd be proficient in at least two or more of the following areas- Active Directory or LDAP - Microsoft and Veritas Clustering - Citrix - .Net, Java Enterprise System(JES) or Websphere - SAN - MS SQL Server - Oracle Database - DB2 UDB Successful candidate will possess proven problem solving, organizational and communication skills. The applicant must be able to work effectively with internal and external vendors, and with cross-organizational teams. Must have proven ability to maintain focus on tasks and deliver within schedule. This position requires demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills. Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), SUN Certified Systems Administrator, etc are a plus. Position Requirements: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing and maintaining connectivity of systems and switches, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, performing daily system back-up procedures, maintaining and creating Webtrends reports. Designs/implements complex local and wide-area networks of machines, Manages a large, complex site or network, Provides technical lead and/or supervises system administrators, system programmers, or others of equivalent seniority, Installs and administers software, Maintains hardware, networking, firewalls and PCsUpgrades, sets standards and configurations, Maintains security, Provides user access to network, Supports users and resolves problems.
