Specialist - JAVA developer   Education Requirements - Undergraduate degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline preferred - Graduate degree (i.e., MBA, MPA) preferred Experience Requirements - 5 years experience working in Consulting or related industry with focus on Information Technology and Public Sector - U.S. Governement experience within the Federal Govenerment, Military Service, or Consulting / Contracting to the Federal Government - 3 years experience in the software development lifecycle building JAVA-based web applications Required Skills - JAVA - J2EE - Experience with object - oriented development (e.g. J2EE) for enterprise systems - Experience with the SDLC - software development life cycle Preferred Skills & Experience - Strong analytical skills (e.g., use of Microsoft Excel and/or Access to analyze data) - Strong presentation development and writing skills (e.g., proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word) - Project management experience - Ability to analyze client processes, develop clear, detailed information technology functional requirements - Strong written and oral skills required Required Work Location - Must be willing to commute daily throughout Washington, DC Metro   Security Clearance - Applicants should hold an active TS/SCI and be eligible for a polygraph - Active LifeStyle Polygraph strongly preferred   Please note that Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
