In many cases, GESprofessionals manage the day-to-day client service relationships-and as such, these professionals serve as the gateway to a variety of specialized Deloitte Tax services that can help improve compliance with taxing entities while maintaining each client's overall tax risk profile. Knowledgeable in Federal Individual Tax compliance and planning, GES professionals work closely with clients and other members of the Deloitte Tax team to understand each organization's global goals and strategies and how industry and economic trends affect the business. We are currently seeking a Manager or Senior Manager in our Global Employment Services (Tax)- Japanese Service Group, in the San Jose office.  We are looking for individuals with tax consulting and compliance experience serving US subsidiaries of Japanese companies.Candidates should have: ·        4 - 6 years experience with Big 4, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required. ·        3+ years of experience serving US subsidiaries of Japanese companies.   ·        Native level Japanese language skills.  ·        Excellent research skills and project management ·        Prior supervisory experience required ·        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field ·        Advanced degree such as MST, JD or LLM preferred.  ·        CPA or EA preferred.   About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
