Other responsibilities include:* Development of training materials. * Creation of materials using the S1000D standard, using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and PowerPoint. * Duties include researching data, interpreting engineering drawings and documents, writing equipment descriptions and theory of operation, creating maintenance/SUTD/sys admin procedures, editing materials, conducting customer reviews and incorporating review comments, and making customer hard and soft-copy deliveries.* Ability to interface with engineering, program office, and customers.Requirements:* At least 5 years experience writing on technical platforms, and/or EE or BS in technical field required. * Detail-oriented self-starter willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and is able to work independently and in a team environment are important. * U.S. Citizenship and ACTIVE TOP SECRET TS/SCI clearance required. * Possess the ability to translate mechanical drawings, electrical and electronic schematics, test specifications, engineering change notices, and other engineering documents into appropriate technical documentation. * Able to develop and review project related drawing and documentation packages such as wiring diagrams, bill of materials, cable specifications, wiring interconnect diagrams, manuals, specifications, and regulatory submittals.Plus if you have:* Experience with SGML/XML manuals or Arbortext * IETM development or Military Tech Manual development experience Note: Occasional, short term travel may be required.
