We have an immediate need for a HTML/CSS DeveloperDescription:We currently have a F/T temporary position (approx. 3-4 months) in our Center City Philadelphia location for an HTML/CSS Developer. This person will be responsible for building a website from flat-file design comps. HTML, CSS and JavaScript are essential skills as well as the ability to review and edit copy. Software Proficiencies: Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop Expert in HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript Interwoven Teamsite (or content manager equivalent) Microsoft Office Responsibilities: Construction of HTML pages and templates from art files. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Understanding JSP/ASP and Flash a plus. Code must be W3C and 508 compliant. Create and modify graphic elements of web pages. Create and modify customer-provided PDF files. Work collaboratively with, and provide input to, copywriters, content managers, designers and the technical team. Able to work with a content management system to import and test files in our testing regions. Edits copy provided by customers for clarity, consistency and readability. Thoroughly reviews all work in various server environments for quality assurance. Reviews usability. Position requires an individual who is extremely organized with an ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills enabling the individual to communicate and interact effectively with various levels of individuals both internally and externally. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Print or Web Design or computer-related field, or equivalent work experience. Three to five years of prior HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience. Experience working with a content management system and testing environments. Ability to troubleshoot design-related issues. Cross-platform test to ensure accuracy in design and HTML/CSS development. Knowledgeable in Information Architecture and Usability methodologies as well as tracking through a web analytics tool.
