Executive Assistant - Recruiting
Huron Consulting Group, one of the nation's premier financial and operational consulting firms has a need for a dynamic individual to join their national recruiting team in their corporate offices in downtown Chicago. As Executive Assistant in Recruiting the selected individual will be responsible for delivering strategic and tactical projects and administrative support for the corporate Recruiting function that includes the following functional areas; executive recruiting, campus programs (undergrad, interns and MBA's and experience recruiting activities. This position reports to the National Director of Recruiting. - Provide administrative support to National Director of Recruiting adhering to quality, quantity of work and respected timelines; as well as providing backup administrative support to Recruiting Managers, as needed. - Review, reconcile and process department invoices for payment. For Recruiting department, assist with budget analysis and report generation. This will include various vendor bills and MD candidate expenses. - Prepare presentation materials for various meetings. Compose and create general and confidential correspondence including; offer letters, memos, charts, table's graphs, business plans, etc. Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals. Included data may be highly sensitive and confidential in nature. - Administer the Managing Director Recruitment Process (MDRP), including providing suggestion to and keeping process model updated and disseminated to the various practice leaders and other department leaders who play a role in the recruitment and on-boarding of MD's. Providing value added suggestions for improvement. - Maintain and track recruiting department metrics, this will include components of quality of hire, cost per hire, source of hire and time to fill. Provide proactive reporting to executive leadership in order to anticipate business needs. - Support recruiting initiatives, activities (including Campus) and special projects as directed by the National Director of Recruiting, examples might include - organizing content for employment branding. - Responsible for distribution and tracking of new hire packets. - Coordinate logistics for new hires that start on weeks when there is no scheduled orientation - work collaboratively with the Orientation coordinator. - Coordinate the accurate and timely reconciliation of recruiting department Amex expenses. - Occasional travel to attend conferences, support remote recruiting days. - Provide back up and support to Executive Assistant - Human Resources - 5+ years experience as an executive assistant, secretary or administrator. Experience in management consulting, public accounting or professional services preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting systems, processes and procedures. - Must possess strong organizational skills, be a strategic thinker and a self-starter. Must be able to work independently and resolve complex issues using sound business judgment. - Experience implementing recruiting projects and initiatives to improve current process - Excellent client service/communication/candidate management skills - Superior written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to build strong internal and external relationships. - Computer proficiency, including demonstrated competence in Word, Power Point and excel, knowledge of database tools and web sourcing technology is desirable. - BS/BA preferred and professional certifications are highly desirable.
