General/Other: IT/Software Development Industry Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.55708 We are currently seeking Electronic Assembler/Technicians to fulfill multiple positions for a firm specializing in aircraft power generation. The positions would be in the Phoenix area, close to downtown. Candidates must have previous experience in troubleshooting microprocessor controlled digital and analog circuits to component level perform preventive maintenance and assist in minor repair of test equipment; familiar with aircraft power generation and distribution is a plus. Familiar with automatic test equipment instrumentation and programming techniques. Strong communication skills required to interface with engineers and process design teams. Familiar with statistical process controls and ISO9000 standards. Able to effectively coordinate and participate in test department training activities. Highly motivated individual capable of working with minimum supervision in a team environment. Minimum of 2-3 years experience; proficient in troubleshooting microprocessor controlled digital and analog circuits to the component level; familiar with automatic test equipment instrumentation and programming techniques; strong communication skills required to interface with engineers and process design teams; familiar with statistical process controls and ISO9000 standards; able to effectively coordinate and participate in test department training activities; highly motivated individual capable of working with minimum supervision in a team environment. 3 years experience in electronic assembly. Must be proficient in the following areas: Operating complex machinery used in electronic assembly; reading, interpreting and following complex manufacturing instructions; resolve quality issues and lead in defect prevention efforts in team; recognition of electrical components and basic functions; proficient in electronic assembly techniques; proficient in all areas of material handling; intermediate to advanced computer skills; able to pass written operator certification and other certification requirements. Duties: Assemble aerospace electronic component/parts per work instructions. This includes but is not limited to: using various manual/power tools and machinery to assemble component to circuit boards; solder components/wires to circuit boards; operate contact machine; operate coating machine; operate reword equipment; assemble boards into final product units; perform paint touch up on final product units; conduct basic geometric measurements of units; conduct quality verification; perform material handling duties; record time card and product moves in computer system; train and orient new employees; and perform other duties as assigned.
