Electrical Designer/Drafter

CRA has an opening for an Electrical Designer/Drafter for our Buffalo, NY office who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant, well-established worldwide engineering, environmental, construction, and IT consulting firm. Qualifications:Diploma in Electrical Design or Drafting.Minimum 7-10 years experience in Industrial Design.Proficiency in Windows 2000, MS Word and Excel.Proficiency in Autocad.Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and proven time management and organizational skills.Self-starter, flexible, team player, willing & able to work on a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision.Authorization for full-time, permanent employment in the United States is required.

Duties: Design of power distribution, motor controls, PLC’s, grounding, lighting, instrumentation and wiring.Preparation and revision of technical drawings for environmental/industrial/municipal consulting services in accordance with Corporate drafting and Quality Assurance Standards (training provided). Obtaining information necessary for completing projects by interfacing with clients, project managers, etc. Travel and industrial field investigation may be required.Working with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.Working with and mentoring junior staff.
