I. Job Summary Maintain and improve the existing base of business in the region and develop new business opportunities within the region and full responsibilities for assigned region. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. ** Serve as a resource to customers when recycling consultants are unavailable. ** Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accomplish corporate goals. ** Assign sales territory to sales representative. ** Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop sales program. ** Meets with key clients, assisting sourcing reps with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.** Target new development locations. ** Prepares sales report showing volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed base expansion. ** Individual required to have the ability to work in a constantly changing environment, understand operating costs, properly price customers, develop new business leads, and work closely with the team of people in the market area. ** Must be able to work with the customer to ensure RA is meeting customerĂ¢™s recycling needs. ** Must be articulate, able to communicate professionally, and be capable of completing all paperwork and reports in a timely and efficient manner. ** Provide guidance and consulting for each site. ** Approach all encounters with employees, customers and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner. ** Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. ** Directs sales by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals. ** Delivers sales presentations.Other special projects as assigned III. Supervisory Responsibilities The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of managerial employees. This includes: ** Direct supervision of full-time employees IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience BA degree from four-year college or university; 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience B.
