Job Details:

The Direct Market Analyst/Statistician plays a lead role in identifying and providing customer and market information to drive marketing strategy and product development. The position requires the person to be skilled in modeling, data mining, segmentation of customers and products, predictive and descriptive analytics, and applied statistics in direct marketing. The person needs to have ability to leverage data to spot patterns, trends, and communicate findings clearly with stake holders. The person will work in a highly data driven environment and needs to be extremely proactive with laser like focus on optimizing contact strategy.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     Customer segmentation analysis

     Prospect Targeting analysis for customer acquisition

     Retention and profitability analysis

          Data Mining techniques such as Affinity, Market Basket, Decision Tree and Neural    Network for segmentation and spotting patterns

          Regression and Multivariate Models based on internal and externally overlaid variables for targeting promotions

     Web Analytics/Square Inch Analysis

     Forecasting based on customer behavior model and survival analysis

 

Requirements:

     10+ years experience in position of analyst in direct marketing industry

     Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with focus on applied statistics

     Excellent mathematical skills

     Ability to work in fast paced environment

     SAS, SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner

     SQL

     Advanced Excel
