Delivery Assurance Manager

The Delivery Assurance Manager is a member of Delegata’s Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for ensuring the excellence of all of Delegata’s client service delivery efforts. He/She will perform routine and ad hoc reviews of the projects to evaluate adherence to plan, the quality of the deliverables and risk management.  The Delivery Service Manager works closely with the General Managers to assist them in evaluating the status and risks of their projects to ensure that they can effectively manage their P&L and their client relations. 

The Delivery Assurance Manager is primarily responsible for:
Working with the GMs to establish Delegata’s client service delivery assurance program and successfully managing its execution
Ensuring  projects are completed on-time, within budget, and that our deliverables meet or exceed our clients’ and Delegata’s quality expectations
Ensuring that the project team adheres to the terms of their contract and that all of Delegata’s clients are fully satisfied with the services we provide to them
Providing timely and accurate reports to the GMs and Senior Management Team on the status of projects, on the quality of the work being performed and on any issues or problems which require management attention
Assisting in the development and execution of corrective action when needed.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
4+ years in a senior staff role with a systems integration consulting (or similar) organization
3+ years managing teams of 10+ people
3+ years managing web-based software development projects
3+ years P&L responsibility for delivering projects/programs in multiple accounts totaling $50+ M per year is preferred
Strong knowledge of/experience managing fixed price contracts
Strong knowledge of/experience with formal Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK)
Strong knowledge of/experience with formal, structured software development methodologies (e.g., RUP, IEEE)
Outstanding communication & leadership skills

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION & TRAINING EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.  Technical or Business degree preferred
Master’s degree from an accredited university preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute preferred
