Position Description
Position Title: Database Marketing Account Executive
Reports to: Manager - Account Services
Positions Supervised: N/A
Position Description: Target Resource Group, North America's largest marketing consulting firm in the arts is seeking an Account Executive to work with TRG's database marketing clients. The Account Executive will be responsible for client management, production support, and database/list management council to support TRG's clients' direct marketing campaigns. This position will work closely with the Manager - Account Services and other team members to help manage workflow as a secondary (sometimes primary) contact for clients, which is comprised of arts organizations across the U.S. In this position, the Account Executive will ultimately become an expert in direct marketing activities specifically related to database analytics and management for non-profit arts organizations.
Desired Qualifications:Advanced level of Access is required or basic SQL experience desired, specifically in the use of custom querying and data manipulation (importing, exporting, normalization, and custom interrogation)Proficient skills in Excel and database software are also requiredCandidates should be highly organized with a great attention to detail, ability to multi-task on several projects; great communication skills and customer service knowledgeExperience preferred in the following sectors: arts marketing, direct mail or database marketingOrganization and problem solving skills are highly desiredBachelors Degree preferred or relevant experience can be substituted
Responsibilities:Collect, interrogate, analyze data from TRG clients in various formsInterface, effectively communicate, and provide council with assigned client baseProvide daily phone/e-mail communication and project management in support of clients and with internal team in support of production timelineSupport in developing and preparing analytical projectsMaintain client workloadOther duties as assigned

Position is located downtown Colorado Springs beginning October 2008. (Currently located in Woodland Park, just west of Colorado Springs)
Travel: This position may require national travel once or twice per quarter in support of major client initiatives.
