Manage development projects, reporting strategy and process automation initiatives. Create strategic vision for organizational reporting/data needs and implementation strategies, focusing on complex data manipulation analysis and reporting. The position leads a small team and must be able to coordinate effectively between IT and business partners. Key Job Responsibilities: Manage the Data Warehouse and related databases which contain key business metricsEnsure accuracy of data in systems.Act as project manager for structural changes, enhancements, templates, and documentation.Accountable for the completeness and accuracy of the data stored within systems used for standard and ad-hoc reporting.This position provides technical and analytical leadership to Business Intelligence Reporting Analysts.Identifies value-added analysis projectsResponsible for driving reporting, analysis and predictive modeling activities Required Experience: Combination of technical and business experience Crystal Reports/Hyperion - ability to develop complex reports in Crystal, Hyperion or another report development tool.Experience with at least one of the following: Crystal Reports Server, Business Objects Enterprise, and Hyperion Intelligence ServerExperience working with business partners to create dashboard reports with drill-down functionality and exception highlightingETL ServicesData Warehouse Systems and process experienceAccess Highly Desired Experience in the following: Report development, data analysis and documentation in a banking/credit union/financial services environmentSQL - ability to create views and stored procedures DB2 - familiarity with DB2 databasesMicrosoft Analysis ServicesMulti-dimensional design concepts - understanding of OLAP tools and development possibilitiesExcel Education/Skills: Requires a bachelors degree – Business, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance; MBA desiredExcellent technical writing and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple, diverse tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teamsAbility to manage and lead technical staff Work Experience: At least 5+ years of post-graduate experience in a Financial Services environmentAt least 5+ years of report development, systems implementation and project management ABOUT CDI CORPORATE CDI is the preferred talent source for much of North America and the world's leading firms.
