Position Overview

 

The Data Architect will support the growth and development of the Performance Management practice at Acumen Solutions. Specifically this person will target Business Intelligence, data warehousing, and Enterprise Information Integration. The ideal candidate will also provide consulting services to one or more clients related to the data management practice. Metrics for success will include delivering solutions on a client site and contributing to sales efforts.


 

Position Details


• Experience should include, at a minimum, data modeling, data cleansing techniques, Business Intelligence (ETL, reporting, OLAP), data warehouse design and implementation, and data management best practices.
• Ability and experience supporting the sales cycle: in sales calls, creating sales collateral, and supporting proposal efforts





 

Essential Functions

·  Daily interaction with client and consulting peers, requirements gathering and analysis, data modeling and development

· Work with structured data in modeled databases and unstructured data that are received from various sources

·  Implementation of data management standards, processes, and procedures

 

Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree Must be authorized to work for any US employerAbility to Travel 8+ years of experience Experience designing and implementing Business Intelligence and data warehousing solutions Excellent communication, client-facing and presentation skills (verbal/written) Outstanding analysis skills Must be authorized to work for any US employer Ability to TravelPreferred
  • Hyperion, Business Objects, Informatica, Ab Initio, and/or Microstrategy experience 
  • Experience with both commercial clients and the federal government is a plus. 
  • Certifications are a plus. 
  • Experience supporting sales is a plus.
