Electrical/Electronics Engineering Industry Management Consulting Services Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code 15926.749738.55146 CDI is looking for a Customer Care Engineer to join our team; join CDI today.SKILL SETS REQUIRED:Carrier Technology: Ethernet, Frame Relay, SONET.Network Hardware: Bridges, Line Interfaces, Routers.Network Protocols: ARP, FTP, HTML, IP, Link Control, Link State Routing, SNMP, TCP, TELNET.DESIRED:Carrier Technology: ADSL, DSL, IDSL Network Protocols: CHAP, DSL, POP, POP3, PPPRequired:Internet & networking, Technical knowledge of IP Routing BGP4, ISIS, OSPF, PPP, Frame Relay, ATM, & DSL is a must.Hands on with Juniper & Cisco routers.Experience with a variety of CPE devices.Desired:NJetwork test equipment such as Adtech, Ixia & Router.BA of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Sciences required with 4to 8 years of related experience.Test & certification of networking tech for use in Vz Public IP Backbone covering Layer1(physical/transmission systems like T1, T3, OC3, OC12), layer 2 (Frame, ATM, PPP(oe/oa) & Layer 3(IP Routing i.e. BGP4, ISIS, OSPF).Perf measurement & Interoperability testing of different vendor equipment, protocols & services (QoS, VoIP, MLFR, MLPPP).Produce documents on the test results & use of equipment for other groups.Participate in first instance of tech deployment in the field & insure smooth transition to ops.Acquaint tech staff in Vz with new equipment & networking tech by holding training sessions.
