JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an energetic, team oriented Controller to provide leadership and oversight of our Finance team.  

 

Specific responsibilities include:

v      Direct and oversee AP, AR, Payroll, HR and Facilities functions.

v      Manage the monthly closing process.

v      Initiate / maintain financial procedures and documented processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of assets, liabilities and expenses.

v      Ensure compliance with local, state and federal reporting requirements and regulations.

v      Coordinate company financial planning and budget management.

v      Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual forecast and analysis of actual results versus forecast and budget.  Provide monthly analysis of actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year.  Provide specialized account and reporting projects as assigned by management.

v      Liaison with external auditors and manage the annual audit process, including preparation of schedules and files necessary for the audit process.

v      Oversee commission management including commission payments to sales force.

v      Negotiate and maintain relationships with insurance and other services providers

 

Location:           Parsippany, NJ

Status:              Employee, permanent position, flexible hours (minimum 20 hours a week)

Reports To:       Chief Operating Officer

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS            

    * Bachelors Degree Accounting / Finance.  CPA desirable but not required

    * 10+ years of relevant experience

    * Working familiarity with Great Plains Accounting Software
