Purpose of Position
The Hitachi Consulting office in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a manager to oversee account operations and management for one of its largest client accounts. A successful candidate will have a variety of financial management, project management, client interaction, executive reporting and office management skills and experiences. Experience supporting sales teams is a desirable trait, and knowledge of consulting or other similar service businesses will be particularly appealing. The position calls for a proactive person who likes to run a tight ship and who requires only moderate supervision.
Areas of responsibility for this position include the following:
· Oversee financial management of the account, including monthly invoicing processes and tracking of financial metrics
· Lead the semi-annual account revenue forecasting process
· Produce financial performance summary information for periodic account review meetings
· Assist in planning and management of account team leadership meetings
· Oversee standard account management processes, such as QA reporting
· Work with client’s procurement teams to ensure account team remains up to date on procurement requirements and programs
· Oversee contract management processes
· Supervise responses to client audits
· Coordinate with market and national operations team as needed to implement and supervise standard operational processes
· Coordinate with international operational staff when needed to standardize and review processes
· General office management duties for the Redmond office, including ordering office supplies and overseeing resolution of facilities needs
· Develop and manage team morale events
This position will report to one of the Vice-Presidents responsible for the account. Required
· Bachelor’s degree
· 5+ years working experience
· Demonstrated understanding and application of basic financial management principles.
· Experience creating and using financial reporting
· Experience working in and leading teams
· Experience preparing for and leading large team meetings
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Experience in client service businesses
· Organized and thorough, with a good eye for detail
· Willingness and ability to multi-task
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel. SharePoint skills are a plus.
· Must be able to climb one flight of stairs and may require lifting up to 25 pounds
Travel
The position requires very little travel.
Location
Primarily Redmond, Washington, with some time spent in the downtown Seattle office.
