California Based - Inside Sales Representative

USCCG, an established operations management consulting firm Headquartered in Tampa Florida is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative, located in either the Los Angeles or San Francisco metropolitan area(s) opportunity. This position will work out of their home, support the pacific region and report to a manager in Tampa. Responsibilities: Make outbound telephone calls to senior corporate executives within assigned industries and/or geographies to generate introductory meetings for field sales executives. Update shared computer database with information gleaned in the course of daily calling. Confirm meetings via phone, fax, letter, or e-mail to field sales executives and prospects. Fulfill prospect requests for product/service literature or other company information. Make regular, scheduled contact with identified best prospects. Work closely with field sales executives to script and coordinate scheduled meetings to predispose favorable outcomes.
 The inside Sales Rep is also expected to monitor and become familiar with their assigned industries and/or geographies as well as the firm’s product set, approach and process improvement methodologies. They will work as an integral part of the new business team for their assigned territories and undertake various follow up activities for targeted direct- and e-mail campaigns.

Desired profile: The successful candidate will be an outgoing conversationalist who enjoy phone contact and are mature, knowledgeable and sophisticated enough to carry on a business conversation with a senior corporate executive. They must also be attentive listeners. Good organization and a solid work ethic are essential.
Technical skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, familiar with CRM systems, Hoover’s, or other prospecting software, and have a high degree of comfort/competency with the internet. Aptitude will be considered in lieu of experience for otherwise exceptional candidates who lack 1st hand experience with these applications.

Work from home: Inside Sales Representatives will work remotely from home as either employees or contractors, using a prospect database that will be provided. Out-of-pocket expenses e.g. long distance phone service, high speed internet access, etc., will be reimbursed.

Compensation: Employee will be paid a competitive base salary and will become eligible for a full range of benefits after successfully completing a thirty to forty- five day trial period. At this point they will also become eligible for a quarterly performance bonus of up to 25 % of their base pay for attainment of both quantitative and qualitative goals.
