Requires Associate or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related technology field or equivalent experience (1-2 years experience minimum). Works with engineering and production departments to develop drawings of electrical systems. These drawings may include schematics, point to point wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, key diagrams, cable tabulations, and logic diagrams. Must have experience in and understand the functionality of transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, control panels, and programmable logic controllers. Should be able to take a task from concept to actual design. Utilizes both Autocad and Microstation software, working knowledge of Microstation is preferred. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, ability to understand how to develop a drawing with minimal direction. Start date may be earlier is successful candidate is available. Duration of assignment is one year with the possibility of an extension.
