Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is committed to assisting industry and government achieve world-class competitiveness.  CTC has a full-time opening for a Business Development Professional at its Washington, D.C. location.

 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROFESSIONAL

The high energy executive filling this position will be responsible for leading business development efforts for CTC's Education and Training market segment, predominantly within Department of Defense, with an emphasis in the Professional Military Education and Intelligence Community. The individual will work closely with senior company leadership to identify, track and capture high priority programs and pursuits in line with CTC’s strategic goals. Additionally, the individual will assist the education and training business unit in developing strategic direction, identifying required new capabilities, and fostering partnerships to support successful proposal bids. Must have extensive knowledge of federal procurement and contracting practices, excellent oral, writing, and presentation skills. This individual will collaborate with corporate leadership in strategic planning, business capture, proposal leadership, competitive analysis, client relationship development and other duties resulting in capture of new funded awards/programs under existing major base contracts and creating new contract capacity where required. The candidate must have the ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals including CTC staff members, mid-career military, general/flag officers, and federal and corporate executives. Must be able to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CTC’s capabilities and projects, and possess the ability and motivation to identify and assess targets of opportunity to apply those capabilities.  Ten or more years experience with the national intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense is required.  A proven track record of successful business development in the federal government sector is mandatory.

A Masters degree is required.  Must have current professional knowledge and experience in developing face-to-face, online and blended learning programs within DoD market sector. The qualified candidate must possess knowledge of governmental source selection procedures, excellent customer relationship development skills, excellent written (proposals) and public speaking (briefings, negotiation) skills, demonstrated experience capturing multi-million dollar programs, secret level security clearance; ability to obtain a TS/SCI level clearance, and will be expected to travel 20% of the time.
