What do we look for in a Business Analyst?
· Use case documentation.
· Process documentation.
· Strong facilitation skills, working with groups of 10 or more people (requirements gathering, JAD, RAD, etc).
· Ability to serve as an intermediary between technical developers and end users.
· Formal requirements gathering and documentation.
· Data and process modeling including the use of modeling or case tools.
· Gap analysis.
· Experience working with offshore and near-shore resources.
· Test planning or building test cases from business requirements.
· Superior problem solving and issues management experience.
· Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.
· Superior communication skills.
· Strong skills in one of more of the following industries: insurance, finance, healthcare, state and local government, airline, travel or retail.
· Experience in all phases of software development.
· CRM or other package software helpful, but not required.
· Training background a plus.
