The Cincinnati, OH office has an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual with demonstrated experience to work with the Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana fund-raising team. Primary responsibility will be our high profile, signature walk event: Step Out to Fight Diabetes, but this position will also lend support to other programs, events and activities.The Associate Manager position requires a results-oriented, high-energy person with a proven track record in generating financial support for events. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in identifying, recruiting & cultivating volunteers for the achievement of fund-raising goals. Strong presentation, oral and written skills are required. Must know how to close the deal, confirm mutual understandings, pay close attention to detail, and be able to manage multiple activities. Experience with data management systems and reporting structures is desired.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 2 to 3 years experience (non-profit fund-raising and/or special event experience preferred) * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including proficiency with Excel formulas and functions)* Must have access to a car as frequent, local travel is required * Must be willing to work some evenings/weekends * Ability to lift 25 pounds
