Associate Consultant - Executive Rewards

We currently have a need for an Associate Consultant – Executive Rewards in our Kansas City office. Responsibilities: Conduct market analysis using private databases, published surveys, and proxy filings to determine appropriate compensation levels for top executives and non-executive directors. Assist in the design of annual and long-term incentive programs, to include analysis of appropriate performance measures and incentive vehicles, target award opportunities, participation/eligibility criteria, and plan funding considerations. Provide analysis and support on projects involving deferred compensation and supplemental retirement programs, equity valuation, severance and change-in-control agreements, and corporate transactions (e.g. mergers, acquisitions, IPOs). Participate in research initiatives and as a presenter at market-facing events in support of the Executive Reward practice. Support business development activities at the local, national, and global levels. Interface directly with clients on design and regulatory matters involving taxation, securities law, corporate and board governance, accounting issues, and listing requirements.
Qualifications Strong preference for a Graduate degree (i.e. JD, MBA, MA), with a concentration in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting. Will consider bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years experience in consulting, accounting, finance, or human resources. Strong research, analytical, communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills. Compensation/Reward experience not required, but considered a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
