And, simply, by being more than your typical human resources consulting practice.   Actuarial and Insurance Solutions Our Human Capital professionals work with insurance providers and self-insured organizations in virtually all aspects of insurance, financial services, and risk-related issues.  We also deliver advice and solutions related to strategy, actuarial and financial analysis, underwriting and claim operations, information systems, and data mining predictive modeling.Actuarial & Insurance Solutions Consultant   The Actuarial & Insurance Solutions Consultant will provide technical, analytical and advisory support in a consulting environment.   The job functions include the following:   ·         Consult primarily to insurance company clients on insurance operations improvement, both business process and technology solutions in underwriting and claims that contribute to bottom line profitability improvements ·         Help clients become more successful in insurance offerings to their customers ·         Coordinate with tax, accounting, regulatory, and other professionals in delivering comprehensive solutions for clients. ·         Develop new opportunities for the Risk Management practice.     Required qualifications for the job:   ·         Bachelors Degrees (BS or BA) ·         3 - 5 years experience as an underwriter  ·         Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time ·         Background in property and casualty insurance (personal and/or commercial)     Ideal qualifications for the job: ·         Bachelors Degree in Risk Management, Law, and/or Finance ·         MBA ·         Claims management experience ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office products ·         Quantitative ability to analyze data ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills ·         Quick learner that enjoys a stream of new challenges ·         Business development experience About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
