Technographics is a program of quantitative consumer surveys of more than 100,000 households annually. Technographics is the largest-scale regular survey of consumer technology behavior in North America and underpins Forrester's consumer research and consulting work.The Associate Data Advisor (ADA) provides data, administrative, and document production support for more senior members of the Data team, and in this way indirectly supports the Technographics clients. Specific support activities include creating charts (using Adobe Illustrator), leading documents through editing, and assisting with survey testing and development. In this entry-level position, an ADA acquires quantitative analytical skills through the use of market research and statistical applications, gains a sound understanding of the impact that technology has on consumers and consumer industries, and develops baseline business skills for clear and directed communication. Through training sessions and mentorship, ADAs also acquire a solid foundation in client management skills. With those skills in hand, the ADA may take on direct client service responsibilities for a limited number of accounts.Responsibilities: * Provide specific data extractions on request from other data team members or from assigned clients.* Create graphics for research documents.* Lead research documents through editing.* Assist with survey testing and development and with maintaining online tools.* Provide proactive and professional relationship management to assigned clients, helping them apply Forrester's research findings and concepts to their business initiatives.* Develop an understanding of the impact that technology has on consumers and consumer industries. Requirements: * A strong track record of academic achievement; B.A./B.S. degree minimum, some coursework in statistics. * Strong quantitative aptitude with a solid foundation in Excel. * Excellent communication skills, including phone and email.* Energetic, enthusiastic attitude.* Intellectual curiosity about business and consumers and the impact of technology on them.* Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.* Experience with statistical software packages (SPSS, SAS, Quanvert, or similar) a plus.
