Work supporting Federal Procurement as a Contract Specialist!

Do you have strong knowledge of federal procurement statues, regulation and principles?  Are your communication skills top notch?  Do you possess strong customer service skills?  Are you local to the San Antonio Market?  If so, we need you to join our team!

Qualified candidates will have experience as a contract specialist working within the Federal system.  The preferred candidate will have strong knowledge of Federal procurement and technical requirements sufficient to plan and carry out an acquisition strategy. The ability to advise technical representatives in procurement planning and preparation of the statements of work is also preferred. Candidates will also possess knowledge of a variety of contract types, and procurement-related automated data processing systems sufficient to solicit, award and modify orders.

The position will entail the full range of cradle-to-grave duties related to the solicitation, award, and administration of formal contracts. The ideal candidate will have knowledge, skills and abilities in the following areas:

- Knowledge of Federal procurement statutes, regulations, principles, policies and procedures.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage a workload with competing demands.
- Must possess a Bachelor's of Science in a business related discipline

This is a full time employment opportunity, with compensation commensurate with experience (approx. range equivalent to a GS 11).  A full array of benefits is available to include: Medical, Dental, Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick/Personal time.
