Title Examiner

Recently laid off from the Title Industry and looking for a GREAT new opportunity?

Look no further!  We need your Title experience!!  Apply immediately!

Exciting and dynamic Title Company is seeking an experienced Title Examiner. Ideal applicants will have 2+ years experience as a Title Examiner or Searcher with great stability, and a Real Estate or Escrow background is a plus.

Responsibilities include:Thoroughly examine the work provided by abstractors in order to determine legal ownership, title problems, and holders of encumbrances. Examine and search County records for judgments and liens. Prepare Title Reports and Abstracts of Title. Examine documents in order to determine whether they clear title defects as set out in the commitments to assist in the closing function. Answer questions of customers and co-workers in order to facilitate a timely closing process. Find and evaluate chains of title for real estate properties.



Requirements:Bachelors degree preferred TSG experience a big plus!! Bankruptcy and REO experience helpful Experience working for a Title, Escrow, or Real Estate company desired Strong communication and organizational skills
