Temporary Help Desk Analyst

An excellent opportunity exists in our IS Department for a Temporary Help Desk Analyst to join our technical support team to provide on-site telephone support to approximately 1,300 users. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch first-level support from our call center, which will require troubleshooting technical issues, supporting complex software and computer technology in a high-service environment.

This is a level 1 Help Desk Analyst position in a Windows XP/Office 2003 managed environment. The qualified candidate will have good basic troubleshooting skills along with an intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Office 2003. Vista and Office 2007 knowledge a plus. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels. You will also have a positive attitude and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, along with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. You must be able to follow existing procedures and provide feedback for process improvement. You must be detail oriented and have great follow through skills while you document tasks, tickets and track calls. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional environment. The scheduled hours for this position will vary, but will include Saturday shifts, and the assignment will last approximately 3 months with possibility for extension.Please click here to apply for this position.
