The company provides customers access to 5 billion searchable documents from more than 35,000 legal, news and business sources.Responsibilities Provide engineering planning, design, installation and maintenance support for the complex network system required by HAIA. Engineering and support responsibilities will be focused in the area of HAIA RAP requirements, which will require technical expert knowledge to support router, Ethernet switch and ATM technologies. Engineer Telecom solutions that meet or exceed Web RAP objectives and project/business requirements based on standard technologies, design, and security practices. Test and certify HAIA network infrastructure to incorporate new feature functions and enhancements to existing network technologies and services. Lead and coordinate HAIA projects on various levels. Produce written project, complex network engineering designs and support plans for the HAIA projects.Qualifications BS/BA in EE or Computer Science. 5-10 years experience required. Critical skills include: TCP/IP; UNIX and PC skills; project leadership; strong communication, analytical & problem-solving skills; solid understanding of LAN and WAN, including 10/100Base T Ethernet, FDDI, ATM, T-1 and Frame Relay.Candidate will be required to work on call.Other Information Required to work on call.The preferred level of education for this position is HS Graduate or Equivalent.The preferred years of experience for this position is 5 years.Closing Statement LexisNexis?, is a leading global provider of business information solutions to professionals in a variety of areas, including: legal, corporate, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, academic and risk and compliance assessment.
